This is one of my paint and yarn pieces that we affectionately call ‘Rudie Nudies’. A name that stuck after a conversation with my children about why I create art of naked ladies - more about this subject on my blog if you are interested.
The midnight blue textured background works so well with the light grey yarn used to depict this lady. Her silver earring and coils of hair help to capture the feeling of that moment, that glance.
Acrylic paint and yarn on 12.7x17.7cm (5x7’’) canvas board in mount.
