Rudie Nudie - Just Peachy

This is one of my paint and yarn pieces that we affectionately call ‘Rudie Nudies’. A name that stuck after a conversation with my children about why I create art of naked ladies - more about this subject on my blog if you are interested.

I called this one ‘Just Peachy’ because it really seemed to capture the feeling of the peach, pink and gold colours as well as this beautiful curvy woman so content and comfortable.  

She has her arms above her head, is she stretching? Is she moving her body to music? That’s up to you to decide.  Either way she is absolutely just peachy thank you very much!

Acrylic paint and yarn on 12.7x17.7cm (5x7’’) canvas board in mount.

Mount = 17.8x22.9cm

Aperture = 12.2x17.4cm
