This is one of my paint and yarn pieces that we affectionately call ‘Rudie Nudies’. A name that stuck after a conversation with my children about why I create art of naked ladies - more about this subject on my blog if you are interested.
This lady is created from an uneven, deep pink, bobbled yarn on a pretty pale pink and warm copper background.
The colours and her curves speak of warmth and gentleness. Her hair is loose and she is content and relaxed.
Acrylic paint and yarn on 12.7x17.7cm (5x7’’) canvas board in mount.
